A photography tour focusing on nesting wading birds in South Western Louisiana. Southwestern Louisiana has an abundance of wading birds and the tour is scheduled to coincide with the birds nesting. We will be visiting several bird rookeries giving unparalleled access to these beautiful birds. Several of the Rookeries are accessed by boat and the remainder are located an easy access from the road.
Also on the agenda is photographing nesting Osprey in a natural setting. The birds nest atop Cypress tress in the Atchafalaya Basin.

The tour is $1099 and includes a morning brown bag meal. Registration is available here. The tour is run from the Bois Des Chenes Bed and Breakfast in Lafayette. Reservations are not included in the price, a brunch is provided for those staying at the bed and breakfast. Please contact me for details.
